This post is completely dedicated to 1 of the most hard working girls I know. But like, seriously, this one is HARDCORE. I’m talking about miss Elisabeth Ouni. She’s a working PR girl, blogger, model, influential and probably a whole lotta other stuff I don’t even know about. This fab Ostend chick has been working on her blog, called A Polaroid Story, for several years now and finally there was an exposition to cover all her success stories.

For those who don’t know her blog (shame on you), let me break down the concept to you:

-          Elisabeth chases HUGE artists with her old school Polaroid camera to…

-          take a picture

-          hopefully get the chance to have a small interview

-         …and therefore she does whatever it takes, such as

-         hustle for hours to artist management peeps

-       smooth talks big ass security guards or whoever she can persuade to let her into

        the backstage area

 Not that easy of a job.

Before you start thinking like: ‘Right, I bet she has pictures of School is Cool or Flip Kowlier…’ I’ll have to put you on hold. We’re talking WORLD CLASS here: Kelis, Snoop Dogg, Mark Ronson, Pharrell Williams, M.I.A., Nelly Furtado, were all snapped by her, and those are just a few names on her endless list.

You can spend hours on her blog reading her stories on how she managed to get to the artists.

So to celebrate this success, she held an expo with some of her best shots in A&G Gallery in Ghent. I just had to drop by and congratulate her. Here are some pics and a video of the expo.

Last weekend there was the Finnisage event of this expo at Club 69. Of course me & Saartje just had to get all down and dirty .
